1. Important notices

As of April 5th, 2021, updated Ministry of Health protective measure regarding the conditions of entry to the Czech Republic will be effective.
Information on the website has been updated accordingly. -
Ministr of Health approved to extend the period for which it will not be possible to travel to the countries with an extreme risk COVID-19 transmission. The Ministry of Health Protective Measure currently in force until April 11th, 2021 will be extended until May 31st, 2021. As of April 12th, 2021 the list of countries with an extreme risk of COVID-19 transmission will also include Colombia and Peru.

Following the decision of German authorities to remove the Czech Republic from the national list of "areas of COVID-19 variant of concern", the obligation for transport personnel transiting the Czech Republic to Germany to have a negative test result is cancelled. The measure (pdf, 280 kB) will enter into force on March 28th, 2021, 0:00 hours.
2. Entry into the territory of the Czech Republic
The rules for entering the territory of the Czech Republic and quarantine measures are defined by the Ministry of Health (pdf, 421 kB). List of countries with a low, medium and high risk of COVID-19 transmission is here (pdf, 114 kB). Information regarding entry to other countries is the responsibility of the embassies in the countries of destination and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Quarantine measures and RT-PCR test conditions are the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.
The activities of diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic are gradually resumed. Depending on the epidemiological situation, the conditions for entry into the Czech Republic will also be gradually relaxed.
