Nationwide training of members of anti-conflict teams and Public Order Police teams

Within the project PDP4 "Cooperation between national police, international entities and territorial self-government" financed by the Financial Mechanism of Norway 2014-2021, the Home Affairs programme, an important nationwide training of members of anti-conflict teams and public order police teams took place in Josefov fortress on September 14, 2022. In addition to approximately 900 police officers, members of anti-conflict teams and extras, representatives of the Programme Operator and foreign delegations from Norway, Slovakia, Poland, Austria and Moldova also participated in this activity as observers. 

The aim of the training, named Josefov 2022, was to deepen the cooperation of joint interventions public order police teams and anti-conflict teams from individual regions. During the training, model situations were prepared to test and unify common interventions in situations such as high-risk social events, demonstrations or marches leading to disruption of public order or disruption of public order in the form of passive resistance.

This training was the largest nationwide training of the Police of the Czech Republic in the last 10 years, which took place during normal operation right in the streets of the town.
