Initial meeting of the Bilateral Initiative
On October 2nd, 2020, an initial bilateral meeting was held at the Galaxie Hotel in Prague as part of the Bilateral Initiative "Sharing Good Practice in State Police Cooperation with Local Authorities". The aim of this meeting was to determine and divide tasks for individual stakeholders during the implementation period, especially the approval of dates and topics of individual workshops, the method of their organization and time frame, selection of presenting experts, design of future presentation of outputs and mutual communication. Representatives of the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities (Kommunesektorens organisasjon) participated in a video conference on behalf of the Norwegian partner, the Czech side was represented by the Department of Financial Mechanisms and Structural Funds of the Ministry of the Interior, the Department of Security Policy of the Ministry of the Interior, the Union of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic and the Police Presidium. All participants described the working meeting as successful and very beneficial.
March 13th, 2020
The Programme Operator of the Home Affairs Programme called for submission of pre-defined project proposals PDP2 on March 13th, 2020. PDP is a project with already outlined and agreed basic framework in the Programme Agreement. Deadline for submission of application is June 13th, 2020.
Project Promoter of PDP2 is the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic.
December 20th, 2019
The Programme Operator of the Home Affairs Programme called for submission of 3 pre-defined project proposals (PDP 1, 3, 4) on December 20th, 2019. PDP is a project with already outlined and agreed basic framework in the Programme Agreement. Deadline for submission of applications is March 20th, 2020.
Project Promoter of pre-defined projects is the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic.
November 20th - 22nd, 2019
"Home Affairs, Justice, Asylum and Migration" Programme Operator’s international meeting
From 20th till 22nd of November 2019, the Department of European Funds of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration of Poland held an international meeting with Programme Operators for the areas Home Affairs, Justice, Asylum and Migration within the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 in Warsaw. At the meeting participated the representatives of Programme Operators from Poland, Czech, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Greece and Croatia and the representatives of Norwegian Embassy in Poland, Polish National Focal Point and Financial Mechanism Office from Brussels as well. The goal of the meeting was to established cooperation and exchange of the experience and good practice in the implementation of Programmes, presentations of each Programme, discussion regarding predefined projects and priorities. The meeting had received an extraordinary positive feedback from the other Programme Operators and it was identified as a platform for networking, exchange of experience learnt and best practices.
