Reintroduction of controls on the border with Slovakia

The Government can prolong the measure based on the assessment of the situation. In the meantime, it will be possible to cross the state border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia only at selected border crossing points and with valid documents.

Border controls will be carried out along the entire length of the border.

During the time this measure is in place, the crossing of the border at other points will not be allowed. The only exceptions to this measure are the rescue and emergency services and the farmers, gamekeepers and other staff that carry out their professional activities in the border areas.

Cross the border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia at the selected border crossing points and do not forget to take your travel documents or residence permits with you.
