In some cases, if you have a general visa obligation in the EU, for instance when changing a passport with a valid visa sticker in your country of origin, if the validity of a long-term residence permit or visa expires in the course of proceedings on a legitimate newly filed application, or after approving applications for a long-term residence permit filed at an embassy, to return/enter the Czech Republic, you will receive visa for the purpose of rcollecting a residence permit (D/VR visa).
You shall fill in a standard long-term visa application, add your photograph, and no other requirements are necessary.
This visa is conferred ex officio in the shortest time possible.
