The conditions and requirements for the issuance of a temporary residence permit
Together with the application for a temporary residence permit in the Czech Republic, a family member is required to submit:
- a travel document;
- photographs;
- proof of health insurance; this requirement does not apply if the purpose of the stay is employment, private enterprise or any other gainful activity;
- a document proving accommodations in the territory;
- a document confirming the fact that the he/she is a family member of a citizen of the EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, or Switzerland;
- in the case of a dependent direct relative in the ascending or descending line or any such relative of a spouse of a citizen of the European Union or any of the aforementioned states, a document proving that he/she is a dependent.
