A visa for the purpose of collecting a residence permit - D/VR
If, once your application for an Intra-Company Employee Transfer Card has been approved, you have no other authorisation for entry and stay in the Czech Republic, you will need a visa for stay longer than 90 days for the purpose of collecting an Intra-Company Employee Transfer Card (D/VR).
Before the visa for the purpose of collecting an Intra-Company Employee Transfer Card (D/VR) can be entered into his/her travel document, the foreign national is required to present proof of travel medical insurance and, on request, proof of payment of the insurance premium. The foreign national must present this document to the Embassy; this requirement concerns only the period from entry into the territory of the Czech Republic until the foreign national begins to be covered by public healthcare insurance according to the Public Healthcare Act - basically the period from entering the visa into the travel document until commencing employment (as specified in the submitted documents).
This visa is granted ex officio within the shortest possible time.
