  • Dear clients, we would like to inform you that on 18th March 2019 on MOI office Příbram (address: Žežická 498, Příbram) there will be limited opening hours from 7:30 – 10:00 due to technical reasons. Emergency cases will be solved preferably. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Dear clients,
    there will be reconstruction of MOI office Písek from May 1st, 2019 - December 31st, 2019, MOI office will be open only for clients with an appointment during this time.
    You can make an appointment via telephone number: 974 235 851 or 974 235 859. It is also possible to make reservation via email: pobyty.cb@mvcr.cz.
    You can use MOI office České Budějovice or MOI office Jindřichův Hradec in emergency cases.

  • Dear clients,
    we would like to inform you that personal cast of general information line was reduced due to systematization. We recommend you to study the rules for communication with general information line carefully, because we are unable to react on some questions/ emails (for example status of your application, unmarked email, unintelligible email or email which violates the rules of good behaviour and more).
    Please, pay attention to the change of rules for communication with general information line to prevent possible misunderstandings.

  • Dear clients,
    there will be reconstruction of the elevator on MOI office Prague I. (address: Žukovského 888/2, Prague 6) from January 30th, 2019 - March 31st, 2019. MOI office Prague I. is unable to provide obstacle-free access in this term. Clients, who necessarily need obstacle-free access, have to visit MOI office Prague II. (address: Cigánkova 1861/2, Prague 4).

  • Information about place and time of submission of Employee Card application in Regime Ukraine from May 1st, 2018.
    Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to inform you, that from May 1st, 2018 applicants of Employee Card in government program Regime Ukraine must submit their applications in visa center of company VFS Global in Lvov. Address is: Lvov, Džerelna Street 18.

  • There will be visa-free stay from Sunday June 11th, 2017 for citizens of Ukraine who travel to member countries EU (except The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and to Iceland. Visa requirement will be canceled only for short-term stays (not for profit-making purpose) and for Biometric passport holders.

  • Dear citizens of European Union with residence in Prague,
    we would like to highlight that it is possible to  submit your application about a certificate of temporary residence for an EU citizen by postal service.
    Within improving the service of MOI office, reducing the number of client visits and incrising comfort you can only fill in  this form (doc, 472 kB) and you will find more information here (pdf, 24 kB).

    there is only one telephone number to make an appointment in Prague and Central Bohemia - telephone appointment line - 974 820 680. We also kindly ask you to call to this appointment line only in case you want to make a reservation. You should prepare your passport and the date of birth. We encourage you to prepare in advance desired date of your appointment and the agenda you wish to discuss. Working hours of appointment line.

    The Information line of the Ministry of the Interior is competent to provide general information on the residence of foreigners in the territory of the Czech Republic. The Information line is not designed for official communication with the Ministry of the Interior. The Information line has no information if your documents were accepted or not by relevant MOI office. Please, ask relevant MOI office directly or ask provider of postal service.
