1. Important notices

  • The Ministry of Health Protective Measure has been updated. As of December 3rd, 2020 the travels to the Czech Republic are no longer limited only to the travels for necessary reasons. In case of arrivals from the countries that are not on the list of the countries with a low risk of COVID-19 transmission, the free-movement within the  territory of the Czech Republic is banned for the duration of 10 days or until a negative PCR test result is submitted to the respective regional hygienic station.

  • As of November 30th, 2020 Estonia and Latvia are no longer considered as countries with a low risk of COVID-19 transmission. Cyprus and Balearic Islands (the Kingdom of Spain) have been newly added to the list, both marked with *.

  • As of November 17th, 2020 it will be possible to travel to or from the Czech Republic for urgent health, family, business or work reasons for the period of time not exceeding 24 hours without necessity of filling "the passenger locator form" or undergo PCR testing.

2. Entry into the territory of the Czech Republic

The rules for entering the territory of the Czech Republic and quarantine measures are defined by the Ministry of Health (pdf, 132 kB). List of countries with a low risk of COVID-19 contagion is here (pdf, 43 kB). Information regarding entry to other countries is the responsibility of the embassies in the countries of destination and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Quarantine measures and RT-PCR test conditions are the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.

The activities of diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic are gradually resumed. Depending on the epidemiological situation, the conditions for entry into the Czech Republic will also be gradually relaxed.
