- apply for an extension of the permitted period of stay on a long-term visa
- apply for a long-term residence permit or its extension

- report a change in your place of residence in the Czech Republic or other changes related to your residence
- apply for a confirmation of residence

Ministry of Interior offers to the caller the closest term for appointment possible. It is not checked whether offered term falls within the time limit prescribed by the law for respective legal act (i.e. for submission of the application).
Clients are advised to make an appointment in advance of their visit to the Ministry of interior office.
Please note that priority will always be given to booked clients to avoid longer waiting times!
In extreme cases, unbooked clients may not be checked in.
Due to organizational reasons, the operation of the Department of Residence of Foreigners of the South Moravian Region, Tuřanka 1554/115b, 627 00 Brno is limited.
In this context, we inform you that unbooked clients may experience longer waiting times for check-in.
In case the check-in capacity of the workplace is full, the issue of order tickets for unordered clients will be terminated or will be adapted to those agendas that are burdened by mandatory personal attendance or during deadlines.
