Parental consent to a child’s residence in the Czech Republic

The consent of a parent or any other statutory representative or guardian to the residence of a child in the Czech Republic is submitted if such a parent/statutory representative will not reside with the child in the Czech Republic. This consent is not necessary if a foreign national proves that he/she is unable to submit such a document due to reasons beyond his/her control or if the child already resides in the Czech Republic. The signature on the consent need not be notarised.
