Winter tyres obligatory in the Czech Republic
From 1st November to 31st March, vehicles must be fitted with winter tyres if there is a specific road sign or if weather conditions require so. These tyres must be fitted on all wheels when roads are covered in snow or ice. The obligation applies also when the drivers can expect bad weather conditions. The tread depth to be considered a winter tyre is 4mm.
