IMPORTANT NOTICES:

  • Dear clients,
    from April 27th, 2018 to June 11th, 2018 there will be reconstruction of MOI office České Budějovice. MOI office České Budějovice will be closed in this terms:
                                                                   April 30th, 2018 - May 4th, 2018
                                                                   May 21st, 2018 - May 25th, 2018
    and other days there will be limited service. We apologize and advice you to postpone the visit in this term or use other MOI offices.

    On MOI office Písek there will be extension of office hours from April 30, 2018 to May 4th, 2018 and from May 21st, 2018 to May 25th, 2018:
              Monday, Wednesday:  08.00 - 17.00 h.
              Tuesday, Thursday :    08.00 - 12.00 h.

  • Information about place and time of submission of Employee Card application in Regime Ukraine from May 1st, 2018.
    Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to inform you, that from May 1st, 2018 applicants of Employee Card in government program Regime Ukraine must submit their applications in visa center of company VFS Global in Lvov. Address is: Lvov, Džerelna Street 18.

  • There will be visa-free stay from Sunday June 11th, 2017 for citizens of Ukraine who travel to member countries EU (except The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and to Iceland. Visa requirement will be canceled only for short-term stays (not for profit-making purpose) and for Biometric passport holders.

  • Dear clients,
    from December 16th, 2016 MOI office Praha IV Nad Vršovskou horou 88/4, Praha - Bohdalec (determined for EU citizen and their family members) ends its activity. The reason is long-term unsatisfactory conditions for performance agenda due to client comfort.
    From 2nd January 2017 EU citizens and their family members can visit the same catchment MOI offices as Third-country citizen - see contacts further.
    From December 19th to December 30th it is not possible to perform agenda due to moving technology. Please, be ready to this situation and plan your residence matters in advance.

    (with residence in Prague, including Prague-East district and Prague-West district)
    We would like to highlight that on Prague MOI offices it is possible to submit your application about a certificate of temporary residence for an EU citizen by postal service.
    Within improving the service of MOI office, reducing the number of client visits and incrising comfort you can only fill in this form (doc, 472 kB) and send it will all requirements to this address (we recommend you to send it by registered post):

    In case that this submission contains completed form and all requirements *, you will be contacted by administrative authority to check your passport and to take your certificate of temporary residence for an EU citizen with assigned personal identification number. You will be contacted on the specific soonest term.

    * All of the documents submitted must be made out in the Czech language or officially translated into Czech language and you have to send originals or notarized copies. This does not apply for travel document - it is possible to send only simple copy of travel document and submit the original of travel document personally when you go to MOI office to pick up your certificate of temporary residence for an EU citizen.

  • Dear clients,
    currently we are dealing with increased number of clients calling to Prague and Central Bohemia telephone appointment line - 974 820 680. We are working on upgrading this phone line therefore substantial increase of its capacity is expected in following weeks or months. Meanwhile we kindly ask you to remain patient since it may take few minutes before you will be connected the operator when calling to the above mentioned phone line.
    We also kindly ask you to call to this appointment line only in case you want to make a reservation.  You should prepare your passport and the date of birth. We encourage you to prepare in advance desired date of your appointment and the agenda you wish to discuss. Otherwise you will contribute to unnecessary blocking of this line in detriment of the other clients.
    The information hotline  974 832 421/418 and email pobyty@mvcr.cz are not capable to process your appointment requests. Please refer to these contacts only with general questions.
